The Hiroyasu Award is bestowed by ILASS-International upon young researchers under 40 years old in recognition of their distinguished, continuing and encouraging contributions to the field of atomization and sprays. (Researchers of aerosol, bioaerosol, and drug treatment concerning atomization and sprays are welcome)
The selection is made by a committee consisting of the chair and two members from each regional ILASS section. The award will be presented to the winner at each triennial ICLASS conference, with the first such award presented at the 2021 ICLASS.
